Request registered names or identifiers for both parents.Ask which health tests were completed, when, and where results can be checked.Distinguish a breeder’s claim from a document you have reviewed.Ask about puppy raising, handling, and matching to a household.Review the contract, support, and return arrangements.Discuss timing, visits, deposit terms, and the full purchase price.Write down unanswered questions before deciding.
